Dr. David Belkin is the Director of Patient Services for Neurofeedback Associates. He oversees all biofeedback assessment and treatment protocols. He received his undergraduate and doctoral degrees from the University of Virginia.

While at Virgina, Dr. Belkin was an Echols Scholar, an honor given to the top academicians at the University.  He also received the Samuel Miller Research Award and the prestigious Virginia Governor's Fellowship.

Over the last 15 years, Dr. Belkin gained renown throughout the country for his work with elite athletes.  These athletes include world champions in two different sports, professionals in all the major  sports leagues and golf tours.  Dr. Belkin has consulted for several Fortune 500 companies, bringing his skills to bear on workplace performance.  Dr. Belkin currently spends most of his time conducting neurofeedback and performance training.

 


   

 Dr. Richard Boehme is the Medical Director for Neurofeedback Associates. Dr. Boehme provides ongoing supervision in the initiation and course of the training.  Dr. Boehme received his undergraduate degree from the US Naval Academy in aerospace engineering, where he graduated with Merit.

Dr. Boehme recieved his  M.D. from the University of Alabama School of Medicine. Simultaneously, he earned his  Ph.D. in biomedical engineering. Dr. Boehme built the largest neurology practice in North Florida, and has been the leading neurologist in the Jacksonville area for the last 20 years.

Dr. Boehme is a nationally recognized expert  in electrodiagnostic testing, headache and stroke.  Dr. Boehme's expertise provides an invaluable component to our service that few others in the country can match.

 

EEG Biofeedback has come a long way in the last 10 years.  In our office, we have purchased several state of the art systems.  Unfortunately, there is no one system that works best for every condition.  Each system on the market is designed to support one theoretical approach or another and therefore has its technological limitations. The hardware/ software combinations limit the therapist's effectiveness, as each system is best utilitized for certain conditions.  At Neurofeedback Associates,  we have integrated these components so that we can effectively treat many more conditions.
